Impact of FIRST on your team and community

YTA engages students in technology and soft-skills training so that our team can help develop a strong technical workforce and enable our community to become a prosperous technology and manufacturing center instead of remaining a rust-belt community.  FIRST plays an important part in technical training of YTA students because it gives team members a chance to work in a real-world engineering environment alongside technicians and engineers
